Almarai is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager for its seafood manufacturing facility in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. You will lead quality and food safety systems, manage the laboratory and the quality team, and make sure every product meets company, customer and regulatory standards.

Position Overview
As Quality Assurance Manager at the seafood plant, you will own the site Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System, build HACCP plans in line with ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000, and lead internal and external audits. You will also track KPIs, complaints and non-conformances, manage supplier quality and run hygiene, pest control and environmental monitoring programs. Key Responsibilities
- Lead site Quality Management and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Develop and improve HACCP plans under ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000.
- Manage laboratory testing, including microbiological, chemical and product quality checks.
- Lead audits and secure certification and compliance outcomes.
- Handle complaints, non-conformances, recalls and incidents with corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive improvements in waste reduction, cost and customer satisfaction.
- Manage supplier quality, coach the Quality team and prepare the annual department budget.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or a related field.
- Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 14001 or equivalent) and HACCP certification.
- 8+ years of QA experience in food manufacturing, with strong seafood processing experience.
- Experience managing food safety systems, laboratories and quality teams in high-volume plants.
- Multinational FMCG or food manufacturing background is highly desirable.
