Position Overview
This flavourist role blends flavor chemistry, sensory science and creative thinking. You will design, develop and optimize flavors for food and beverage customers, while meeting U.S. and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and formulate flavors, including liquids, spray-dried powders, emulsions and extracts
- Create and optimize flavor profiles for beverage, sweet goods and dairy products
- Lead projects from concept to launch while meeting timelines and quality standards
- Use analytical data and sensory science to characterize and match flavors
- Work with Applications, R&D, Marketing and Sales teams, and support account managers
- Mentor and train junior colleagues
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field
- 10+ years of hands-on flavor creation across sweet, dairy and beverage categories
- Certified flavor chemist credentials, such as Society of Flavor Chemists certification, or an equivalent
- Strong knowledge of aroma molecules, natural extracts and flavor manufacturing
- Working knowledge of U.S. and international flavor regulations
- Strong communication, project management and mentoring skills
Plus points: a master’s degree or doctorate, and experience with clean label and natural flavors.
