Position Overview
This Driver cum Warehouse Assistant role involves receipt, inspection, handling, stocking, identification, and issuance of materials, maintaining warehouse documentation and inventory records, and quarantining defective or short-supplied materials. You will monitor stock levels, assist with stock counts, ensure inventory traceability, provide on-the-job training to warehouse staff, and operate the assigned vehicle safely and courteously.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Receipt, Handling & Stock Control
- Receipt, inspection, handling, stocking, identification, and issuance of materials
- Monitor and maintain stock levels and product knowledge
- Assist with stock counts and inventory registration
- Quarantine defective or short-supplied materials
Documentation & Traceability
- Maintain warehouse documentation and inventory records
- Ensure inventory identification and traceability requirements are maintained
- Support logistics teams with shipment and documentation preparation
Driving, Safety & Training
- Operate the assigned vehicle safely and courteously, maintaining defensive driving practices
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and ensure products are stored correctly
- Commit to continuous improvement in Quality, Health, Safety, and the Environment (QHSE)
- Provide on-the-job training to warehouse staff
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Vocational Certificate or High School Certificate preferred
Experience Requirements
- More than three years of experience as a Warehouse Assistant
Licensing Requirements
- Valid UAE Manual Driver’s License (required)
- UAE Forklift License preferred
Essential Skills
- Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize activities
- Ability to resolve simple problems
- Able to communicate in English and operate a computer system to generate transactions and documentation
- Good numerical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
