Key Responsibilities
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Perform routine preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment
- Inspect equipment regularly and identify mechanical, electrical, and operational abnormalities
- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity
Mechanical & Electrical Equipment Maintenance
- Carry out basic maintenance of motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, generators, and other industrial equipment
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting including motors, control panels, switches, sensors, and electrical connections
Installation, Commissioning & Reporting
- Assist with installation, dismantling, alignment, testing, and commissioning of machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and record equipment conditions, readings, and maintenance activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in plant mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial environment
- Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and generators
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills covering control panels, switches, and sensors
- Experience assisting with installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of equipment
- Strong attention to detail for inspection reporting and maintenance record-keeping
- Ability to work on a 12-month contract basis with availability to start within 30 days
