Position Overview
This Assistant Operator Slickline role involves assisting in the rig-up of equipment per accepted procedures, collecting and recording relevant data, and assisting with weight indicator gauges and depth counters to monitor slickline tension and depth. You will support retrieving and installing valves, plugs, and pressure regulators, assist with fishing tools used to retrieve broken or lost wire or equipment, and support on-site emergency equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Slickline Operations Support
- Assist in the rig-up of equipment in accordance with accepted procedures
- Assist in raising and lowering downhole tools and plugs to proper depth
- Assist with weight indicator gauges and depth counters to monitor slickline tension and depth
- Support in retrieving and installing valves, plugs, and pressure regulators
Data, Coordination & Maintenance
- Collect and record relevant job data
- Coordinate with third parties whose activities could affect slickline job execution
- Support on-site emergency unit and equipment maintenance
- Maintain tools, safety gear, and equipment in safe working condition
HSE, Compliance & Training
- Report all hazards, accidents, incidents, and injuries immediately to the supervisor
- Attend weekly Safety Meetings and implement operational and technical standards
- Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling, and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice
- Provide on-the-job training for UAE Nationalization competency programs
