Position Overview
The Line Leader (Production) at Siniora Food Dubai is a hands-on production floor leadership role responsible for supervising, coordinating, and driving the performance of the production line during assigned shifts. You will lead and motivate the line team, ensure production targets are met, maintain quality and food safety standards, monitor line efficiency and output, support compliance with GMP and hygiene requirements, identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, and contribute to a high-performance, safe, and quality-focused production culture. Key Responsibilities
Production Line Supervision & Team Leadership
- Supervise and lead the production line team during assigned shifts — providing clear operational direction, performance guidance, and hands-on support to ensure smooth and efficient line operations
- Motivate and develop production team members — fostering a positive, accountability-focused, and results-driven production floor culture that consistently meets output and quality targets
- Coordinate shift activities and team deployment across the production line — ensuring adequate coverage, skill alignment, and efficient resource utilization throughout every production shift
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift handovers — communicating priorities, performance status, outstanding issues, and operational observations clearly to the incoming team and production management
Production Target Achievement & Line Efficiency
- Ensure production targets — volume, speed, cycle time, and yield — are met consistently during every shift through effective line management, proactive monitoring, and timely corrective action
- Monitor line performance and efficiency continuously — identifying bottlenecks, equipment issues, and workflow inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions that restore and sustain target performance
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment readiness, and packaging supplies that prevent production line stoppages
- Track and record key production data — output volumes, downtime, waste, efficiency ratios — and compile accurate shift production reports for supervisors and production management review
Food Safety, Quality Standards & GMP Compliance
- Ensure all production activities on the line are conducted in full compliance with food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, and company quality specifications
- Monitor product quality throughout the production shift — conducting regular visual inspections and quality checks to identify and address deviations before they affect finished product standards
- Enforce all food safety and hygiene procedures on the production line — ensuring every team member consistently applies correct food handling, personal hygiene, and sanitation practices
- Identify and escalate quality and food safety non-conformances promptly — supporting root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence and maintain production quality
Continuous Improvement & Operational Problem-Solving
- Actively identify opportunities to improve production line efficiency, reduce waste, minimize downtime, and enhance overall shift output — proposing practical improvements to production supervisors and management
- Troubleshoot operational issues on the production line promptly and effectively — drawing on technical knowledge and practical experience to keep the line running with minimal disruption
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and production process changes — ensuring team members understand and correctly apply updated procedures and work instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production line environment at all times — ensuring all tools, equipment, and workstations comply with safety and hygiene standards throughout every shift
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Graduation in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Food Engineering) or Food Science — preferred qualification that provides a strong technical foundation for this production line leadership role
- Candidates without the preferred degree but with strong 1–3 years of direct food manufacturing line leadership experience will also be considered based on demonstrated operational capability
Experience Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar Line Leader, Line Supervisor, or frontline production leadership role within the food manufacturing industry
