Need Specialty Coffee & Bakery, a growing concept built on quality beans, precise roasting and fresh baking, is hiring a full-time Coffee Roaster in Abu Dhabi. If you read a roast curve the way others read a map and care about what ends up in the cup, this role puts the craft in your hands.
About the Role
You will run the daily roasting operation: preparing profiles, roasting to specification, watching roast quality and keeping to the production schedule. You will roast samples, cup and record data so flavour stays consistent, coordinate inventory needs with baristas and management, help with packaging and labelling and keep the roasting area clean and safe. You will also share knowledge on origins, processing and brewing and help improve products and processes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Skilled in coffee roasting, with experience managing roast profiles and batches
- Strong quality control: cupping, sensory evaluation and accurate records
- Able to train colleagues on roasting fundamentals and best practice
- Attention to detail, good time management and safe habits around roasting equipment
- Specialty coffee or roastery experience preferred
- Willing to work on-site in Abu Dhabi in a fast-paced setting
- Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage
