Key Responsibilities
What You Will Do Day to Day
- Serve food and beverages to guests in assigned rooms.
- Service all mini-bars in rooms and suites, and take stock of items.
- Post mini-bar consumption correctly to the guest folio.
- Check expiry dates, product quality and damaged labels.
- Know the menu well, upsell and offer alternatives.
- Handle guest enquiries and report complaints to supervisors straight away.
- Operate the POS system at your trained level.
- Carry out opening and closing procedures and keep supplies in order.
- Reduce spoilage and wastage and help with scheduled inventories.
- Coordinate with guest relations and follow hotel safety and hygiene policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in an F&B service role is preferable.
- Team player with a professional, confidential and ethical approach.
- Customer-driven, proactive and adaptable.
- Safe, organised way of working.
- Smart grooming and personal hygiene in line with Kempinski standards.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word is beneficial.
