The job starts as soon as possible, with home office options, a competitive salary and a performance-based bonus.
About W Power Storage
Business: Land acquisition, permitting, planning, construction and operation of large battery storage systems

Position Overview
As Grid Manager, you own the technical side of grid connection procedures, from the connection request and reservations through to commissioning, and you are the technical contact for transmission and distribution grid operators. You prepare and check application documents such as single-line diagrams, data sheets, unit and component certificates, and protection and metering concepts. You make sure projects meet VDE-AR-N 4110/4120/4130 and the operators’ technical connection rules, run the certification process, and assess grid connection commitments, conditions and grid calculations to set requirements for plant design. You steer engineering, experts, certifiers and manufacturers for substations, transformers, switchgear, inverters and protection and control systems, negotiate with grid operators and track deadlines and risks across the portfolio.
Why This Role Matters: Grid connection decides whether a battery project gets built. This is a senior technical role with direct impact on a multi-gigawatt portfolio, close work with grid management, engineering, project development and legal, and room to set the standards others will use.
