GAC, the global shipping, logistics, and marine services group, is hiring a Shift Supervisor for its Dubai operation. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, coordinate shift resources, and support the team behind safe, accurate, and efficient contract logistics activities. That means planning each shift, briefing warehouse teams on their tasks, managing staffing schedules, carrying out stock checks, keeping housekeeping standards high, and reporting equipment problems promptly. The employer asks for a university degree (a logistics or shipping diploma is preferred) and at least two years of experience in logistics or shipping. Good English and working knowledge of Word and Excel are needed.

Why This Shift Supervisor Role in Dubai Stands Out in 2026
Established Group: Join a global team that has been working in shipping and logistics for nearly seventy years
Real Responsibility: You plan the shift, assign the people, and own the day’s results on the warehouse floor
Safety First: Health, safety, security, and environmental procedures are part of the daily routine, not an add-on
Room to Improve Things: You are encouraged to raise concerns, share ideas, and suggest practical improvements
Position Overview
The Shift Supervisor at GAC in Dubai runs the warehouse for a shift. You plan the day’s activities, assign team members according to workload and priorities, and brief the warehouse team clearly on what needs doing. You manage staffing schedules and support day-to-day coordination, keep housekeeping standards up, and maintain the operational records that the operation depends on. During the shift you carry out regular stock checks, keep an eye on warehouse facilities, equipment, and machinery, and report maintenance issues promptly. You follow GAC’s health, safety, security, and environmental procedures so the workplace stays safe and compliant. Beyond the routine, you work with colleagues across the operation to raise concerns and share ideas, and you look for practical ways to improve productivity and service quality. It suits someone who likes being on the floor, keeping people organised, and getting small details right.
Why This Role Matters: In contract logistics, the customer’s goods are only as safe and accurate as the shift that handles them. A shift supervisor who briefs the team clearly, matches people to the work, and checks stock as the day goes on prevents most of the problems that otherwise show up later as missing items, delays, or damage. Equipment that is reported early gets fixed before it stops a line of work. Records that are kept up to date make audits and customer questions easy to answer. And a supervisor who treats safety as part of the job keeps people from getting hurt. In a busy warehouse in Dubai, the supervisor is the person who turns a plan into a smooth, safe shift.
