A manufacturing company in Fujairah, UAE is hiring an experienced and proactive QHSE Officer (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) to oversee and keep improving its QHSE systems across the manufacturing site and operations. You will build a strong safety culture, make sure the site meets legislation, maintain ISO standards, and push continuous improvement in quality, health and safety, and environmental performance. The role suits a certified, hands-on professional with NEBOSH IGC, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001:2015 auditor qualifications and proven QHSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Position Overview
As QHSE Officer in Fujairah, you will manage health and safety by making sure the site meets all legislation, policies, and procedures, running risk assessments, workplace inspections, and accident investigations, and delivering inductions, toolbox talks, and training for employees, contractors, and visitors. On the environmental side, you will keep the site compliant, track and improve environmental KPIs, and support waste management. For quality, you will maintain the ISO 9001 system, coordinate internal and external audits, analyse quality data, and support problem-solving. You will also support integrated QHSE systems, keep documents current, and report compliance data to management and corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, policies, and site procedures.
- Develop and implement the H&S system, working independently or with minimal supervision.
- Carry out risk assessments, workplace inspections, and accident investigations.
- Deliver H&S inductions, toolbox talks, and training for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Promote proactive safety initiatives and a positive safety culture at every level.
Environmental Management
- Ensure the site complies with environmental legislation and company policy.
- Monitor, report, and improve environmental performance and KPIs.
- Support waste management and make sure duty of care is maintained.
Quality Management
- Maintain and promote the site Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
- Coordinate internal and external audits and lead internal audit teams.
- Make sure customer quality requirements are understood across departments.
- Analyse quality data and support problem-solving and continuous improvement.
System & Compliance
- Support implementation of integrated management systems (QHSE).
- Keep documentation, policies, and procedures up to date and well communicated.
- Report QHSE performance and compliance data to management and corporate teams.
Training & Development
- Identify H&S and quality training needs in coordination with HR.
- Coach and mentor staff to raise awareness and accountability for QHSE performance.
Qualifications & Experience
ISO 14001 Internal Auditor
ISO 9001:2015 Lead / Internal Auditor
- NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Environmental qualification, such as ISO 14001 Internal Auditor or equivalent.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead or Internal Auditor certification.
- Proven QHSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QHSE reporting systems.
