RTC1 Recruitment Services is hiring a Food Quality Team Lead for a client: a quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept in Dubai known for burgers, fried chicken, and a range of street-food favourites. The role leads food quality assurance, kitchen operating standards, and hands-on culinary training across the outlets and the central kitchen. You will standardise recipe manuals, kitchen SOPs, and cooking procedures, train chefs and cooks, and run regular kitchen audits and food quality inspections against brand standards. The employer wants at least five years of QSR kitchen experience, direct experience with burger and fried chicken operations, and a valid UAE driving licence with your own car. The post is seven hours old and already has over 200 applicants.

Position Overview
The Food Quality Team Lead owns food quality and kitchen standards across the client’s QSR outlets and central kitchen. You will write and standardise the documents that keep a kitchen consistent: recipe manuals, SOPs, cooking procedures, and guidelines. You will then make sure people actually follow them by designing and delivering structured, practical training for chefs, cooks, and kitchen teams, covering recipe execution, cooking techniques, and product consistency. Finally, you will check the results through regular kitchen audits and food quality inspections against brand standards. Because the work covers several locations, you move between outlets and the central kitchen, which is why a driving licence and a personal car are required. It is a leadership position, so the employer also wants strong communication and coaching skills and good MS Office skills for writing SOPs, recipe manuals, training materials, and audit reports.
Why This Role Matters: In a burger and fried chicken business, customers come back for one thing above all: the product tasting the same every visit, at every outlet. That consistency does not happen by accident. It comes from clear recipe manuals, kitchen procedures that people understand, training that sticks, and checks that catch drift before customers notice it. The food quality team lead is the person who builds that system and keeps it running. When a new cook can follow a recipe card and get the right result, or an audit finds a small problem before it becomes a complaint, that is this role doing its job. For an experienced QSR kitchen professional who enjoys teaching and setting standards, it is a natural next step up from running a kitchen.
