Reporting to the Production Manager, you will help scale production safely and efficiently by supervising the floor through line startup, production, and shutdown, managing operators and workers, following the production plan, working with maintenance on equipment issues, tracking material use, recording output, waste, downtime, and batches, and writing daily production, trial, and completion reports. You will also enforce GMP, safety, and food safety standards including HACCP, ISO 22000, and SFDA requirements. Position Overview
This Production Supervisor role supports Wholly Hearty’s goal of scaling production in a fast-growing startup. You will supervise the production process on the floor at all times, including line startup, production, and shutdown, and you are expected to learn every stage of production well enough to explain it and train others. You will follow the plan issued by the Production Manager, manage operators and workers — assignments, attendance, and punctuality — and coordinate with maintenance on equipment faults, repairs, and scheduled work. You will track material consumption (raw materials and consumables issued versus used), record production data such as output, waste, downtime, and batches, and prepare daily production reports, trial reports, and completion reports. Throughout, you enforce GMP, safety, food safety, HACCP, ISO 22000, and SFDA requirements. Excel and ERP skills are preferred, and the job needs someone punctual, responsible, and hands-on.

Key Responsibilities
Floor Supervision & Process Knowledge
- Supervise the production process on the floor at all times, including line startup, production, and shutdown
- Learn every stage of the production process and be able to explain it and train others
- Follow the production plan issued by the Production Manager
- Keep the floor organised and running smoothly
People & Equipment
- Manage operators and workers: assignments, attendance, and punctuality
- Coordinate with maintenance on equipment faults, repairs, and scheduled work
- Escalate recurring problems to the Production Manager
- Support new team members as they learn the process
Data, Materials & Reports
- Track material consumption: raw materials and consumables issued versus used
- Record production data: output, waste, downtime, and batches
- Prepare daily production reports, trial reports, and completion reports for work done on the floor
- Use Excel and ERP tools to keep records accurate
Food Safety & Compliance
- Enforce GMP, safety, food safety, and other applicable standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, SFDA)
- Keep hygiene and housekeeping standards high on every shift
- Support audits with clear, complete records
- Raise safety and quality concerns immediately
Qualifications & Requirements
Eligibility & Education
- Saudi national
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, food science, or a related field
- Valid Saudi driving licence
Experience
- Industrial background with a minimum of 1 year in manufacturing
- Food manufacturing and supervisory experience preferred
Skills
- Good Arabic and English; strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, labour-intensive startup environment
- MS Excel and ERP systems (preferred); punctual, responsible, and hands-on
