Position Overview
As Quality Control Manager at Al Ain Mills, you will lead the quality control function of the flour mill. You will manage the QC team, implement and improve quality control procedures, and make sure flour quality standards, food safety, quality assurance, and laboratory operations are strong at every stage — from wheat intake to finished flour. You will bring leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to keep the product consistent and compliant. The role needs at least 8 years of managerial QC experience, including at least 5 years directly in the flour milling industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QC team at the flour mill, setting clear goals, guiding daily work, and building team skills.
- Implement and improve quality control procedures across wheat intake, milling, and finished flour.
- Uphold flour quality standards so every batch meets specification and customer expectations.
- Oversee laboratory operations for accurate, timely testing and reliable results.
- Maintain food safety and quality assurance systems to keep the mill compliant and audit-ready.
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate quality issues, find root causes, and put lasting fixes in place.
Key Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in a managerial role in Quality Control.
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in the flour milling industry.
Strong knowledge of flour quality standards, food safety, quality assurance, and laboratory operations.
Experience managing QC teams and implementing quality control procedures.
