Food Safety Audit Excellence
As our Food Safety Auditor, you’ll conduct both scheduled and surprise inspections at Dunkin’ Donuts locations across the UAE. Your audits will evaluate critical control points, including food handling procedures, proper storage temperatures, preparation techniques, sanitation protocols, and personal hygiene compliance.
You’ll inspect equipment calibration records, maintenance documentation, pest control logs, and overall facility cleanliness. Every audit must verify strict adherence to UAE municipality requirements while ensuring alignment with Dunkin’s global operational standards.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation Management
Documentation accuracy is paramount in food safety management. You’ll prepare detailed audit reports with actionable corrective action plans, ensuring timely submission to Quality and Operations leadership. Your role includes tracking non-conformity closures and conducting follow-up visits to verify compliance implementation.
Staying current with evolving UAE food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and international food safety standards is essential. You’ll maintain comprehensive knowledge of Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and other regional regulatory requirements.
Training and Team Development
Beyond auditing, you’ll serve as a food safety coach and mentor to store teams. Your on-site training sessions will cover best practices in food handling, temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and proper documentation procedures.
You’ll support continuous improvement initiatives, helping stores achieve and maintain excellence in food safety performance. Your guidance will empower team members to understand not just what they must do, but why proper food safety protocols matter.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaboration is key to success in this role. You’ll work closely with Operations teams to address audit findings, partner with Supply Chain to ensure ingredient quality and traceability, and coordinate with Maintenance teams on equipment-related food safety concerns.
Your expertise will be invaluable during new store openings, where you’ll conduct pre-operational food safety assessments and ensure all systems are properly established before launch.
Required Qualifications and Certifications
Educational Background
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, Environmental Health, or a closely related field. This educational foundation provides the scientific understanding necessary for effective food safety management in quick-service restaurant environments.
Professional Experience
We’re seeking professionals with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in food safety auditing or quality assurance roles, preferably within the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry. Experience with chain restaurant operations, multi-unit auditing, and high-volume food service environments is highly valued.
Mandatory Certifications
UAE-recognized food safety certifications are non-negotiable requirements for this position:
PIC (Professional in Charge) Level 3 or Level 4 certification demonstrates your competency in food safety management according to UAE standards.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certification proves your ability to identify and control food safety hazards systematically.
ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems knowledge ensures you understand international best practices in food safety.
