Position Overview
This Vacuum Tanker Driver role involves inspecting the truck for defects before and after trips, driving to customer locations to pick up fluids and sewage, and connecting hoses to extract fluid safely. You will monitor extraction amounts and legal hauling limits, drive carefully to loading and disposal sites, maintain accurate work tickets and driving logs, and comply with all health and safety measures.

Key Responsibilities
Vacuum Tanker Operation & Fluid Extraction
- Performs quality sewage cleaning covering company office buildings, accommodation, and client locations
- Inspects truck for defects before and after trips, reporting discrepancies
- Drives the Vacuum Truck to customer locations, connecting hoses to extract fluid safely
- Monitors fluid extraction amounts and lawful hauling limits
Safe Driving & Documentation
- Drives the truck carefully and efficiently to and from loading, disposal, and customer sites
- Maintains accurate work tickets, driving log books, and pre-trip/post-trip inspection files
- Alerts supervision when mechanical defects are noted or work hours may exceed allowed timings
Communication & Safety Compliance
- Maintains a friendly manner and positive attitude with clients and colleagues
- Effectively communicates information to clients and other employees
- Complies with all health and safety measures and regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High School or equivalent is acceptable
Experience Requirements
- 1–2 years of similar experience operating vacuum tanker machinery in a regulated environment
- Valid driver’s license with proper endorsements for the type of vehicle operated
- Completed necessary training on equipment operation; proper brake certification if needed
- Experience using hand tools and other vehicle-associated equipment
