Position Overview
This Product Specialist role involves playing critical role ensuring customers maximize their experience with AGCO agricultural products and services. You will support customers and dealers to optimize performance and efficiency of agricultural equipment and technology offerings while providing exceptional customer experience, execute education and training programs for products and technology suite, act as team player working with peers and dealer network to improve customer satisfaction, assist with and execute product demonstrations ensuring exceptional customer experience, support dealers with customer visits to build relationships and collect voice of customer information, and coordinate customer-oriented events including clinics, trainings, farm shows, and dealer events.

Key Responsibilities
Customer & Dealer Support
- Support customers and dealers to optimize performance and efficiency of agricultural products
- Provide exceptional customer experience and technology offerings support
- Execute education and training of products and technology suite of offerings
- Help customers maximize their experience with AGCO products and services
Product Demonstrations & Training
- Assist with and execute product demonstrations with focus on exceptional experience
- Ensure customers get the most of agricultural products and services
- Conduct training programs for customers and dealer network
- Demonstrate agricultural equipment features and technology capabilities
Relationship Building & VOC
- Support dealers with customer visits to build relationships
- Collect voice of customer (VOC) information for continuous improvement
- Prospect and qualify leads for sales opportunities
- Act as team player working with peers and dealer network
Administrative & Reporting
- Must be disciplined in completing internal administrative tasks
- Ensure robust metrics and reporting (Lead Gen., Training, Demonstrations)
- Maintain accurate records using Salesforce CRM
- Track customer interactions and training activities
Customer Events Coordination
- Coordinate, assist, and help execute customer-oriented events
- Support clinics, trainings, farm shows, and dealer events
- Represent AGCO at agricultural industry events
- Engage with farming community at trade shows and demonstrations
Team Collaboration
- Work together with peers to improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with dealer network for customer success
- Support team goals and contribute to AGCO mission
- Share best practices and customer insights with team
Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- OR equivalent agriculture experience acceptable
- Background in agricultural studies, agronomy, or related field beneficial
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or technical support (REQUIRED)
- Experience within agricultural industry (REQUIRED)
- Hands-on experience operating agricultural equipment (REQUIRED)
- Strong knowledge of ag technology products
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook (REQUIRED)
- Experience with Salesforce CRM (REQUIRED)
- Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and technology
- Understanding of precision agriculture and farm management systems
Professional Skills
- Strong communication skills for customer education and dealer support
- Agronomy knowledge and understanding of farming operations
- Experience with dealer-based sales or ag/industrial equipment
