Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Testing & Analysis
- Perform routine laboratory tests and detailed analyses on water samples and raw materials daily
- Conduct microbiological, chemical, and physical testing in line with Nestlé global quality standards
- Record, analyze, and report laboratory results accurately using approved documentation systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize laboratory testing efficiency and accuracy
Quality & Compliance Management
- Ensure full compliance with Nestlé quality standards, Saudi regulatory requirements, and company procedures
- Follow strict hygiene, safety, and quality protocols at all times within the laboratory environment
- Maintain proper documentation and lab records in accordance with ISO and industry standards
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure complete product integrity
Equipment Maintenance & Calibration
- Maintain laboratory equipment in optimal working condition through regular cleaning and inspections
- Ensure proper calibration of all testing instruments as per scheduled maintenance protocols
- Report equipment faults or deviations promptly to supervisors for immediate corrective action
- Support the procurement and inventory management of laboratory consumables and reagents
Team Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with production, quality, and operations teams to resolve product quality issues quickly
- Communicate laboratory findings clearly and professionally to relevant department managers
- Support laboratory audits, inspections, and third-party quality assessments as required
- Contribute positively to a safe, organized, and high-performance laboratory culture
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a closely related scientific field
- Relevant certifications in laboratory safety or quality management systems are an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- Preferably 1+ year of relevant laboratory experience in a food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with water quality testing, chemical analysis, or microbiology is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, or similar quality frameworks is highly valued
Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in laboratory data recording and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions
- Strong communication skills in English — both written and verbal — for reporting and team collaboration
- Ability to work effectively within a structured, quality-focused, and fast-paced laboratory environment
- Good teamwork, time management, and the ability to handle multiple testing tasks simultaneously
