Position Overview
The Quality Controller in Riyadh is an operationally important role within the food warehouse quality function. You will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of quality and food safety standards across the warehouse, conducting routine product and storage condition inspections, ensuring compliance with company quality procedures and food safety regulations, and documenting all findings in structured quality reports. - Monitor the consistent implementation of Quality and Food Safety standards across all food warehouse operations
- Ensure that storage and handling operations fully comply with company quality policies and applicable Saudi regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene requirements across all warehouse areas and storage conditions
- Verify that food products are stored, handled, and dispatched in line with established quality and safety specifications
Product Inspections & Storage Condition Checks
- Conduct routine inspections of food products to assess quality, condition, and compliance with established specifications
- Inspect warehouse storage conditions including temperature monitoring, hygiene standards, and shelf organization protocols
- Identify any product quality deviations, contamination risks, or storage non-conformances requiring immediate corrective action
- Ensure incoming, in-storage, and outgoing products meet all required quality and food safety standards before release
Documentation, Reporting & CAPA Follow-Up
- Document all inspection findings, quality check results, and non-conformances in structured, accurate quality records
- Prepare clear and comprehensive quality reports for management review, highlighting trends, risks, and compliance status
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure quality deviations are resolved in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain complete and audit-ready quality documentation in line with company quality management system requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Quality Improvement
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to identify quality performance gaps and implement targeted improvement actions
- Communicate quality findings, compliance requirements, and corrective actions clearly to warehouse and operations staff
- Support the quality team in promoting a quality-first and food safety-aware culture throughout the warehouse facility
- Contribute to continuous improvement of quality procedures, inspection checklists, and standard operating practices
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Food Science, Food Safety, or a closely related academic field
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Food Safety standards is required for this role
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in food warehouses or the food industry in a quality or inspection-related role
- Practical familiarity with quality inspection procedures, food safety compliance, and warehouse quality documentation
Skills & Competencies
- Good command of the English language — both written and spoken — for quality documentation and reporting purposes
