An experienced Pipeline Engineer with ADNOC project experience is urgently sought in Abu Dhabi for a senior oil and gas pipeline construction role. This Pipeline Engineer role plans, supervises, and coordinates pipeline construction, repair, replacement, tie-in, shutdown, and brownfield activities at site. You will review IFC drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and method statements; manage large-diameter pipeline works from fabrication through mechanical completion; coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning, operations, and client representatives; monitor daily site progress; ensure safe execution via PTW/WMS compliance; and prepare daily progress reports, handover dossiers, hydrotest records, NDT summaries, and redline drawings.

Key Responsibilities
Construction Supervision & Coordination
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate pipeline construction, repair, replacement, tie-in, shutdown, and brownfield activities at site
- Review approved IFC drawings, isometric drawings, alignment sheets, P&IDs, method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments
- Manage large-diameter pipeline works including fabrication, fit-up, welding, lowering, installation, testing, reinstatement, and mechanical completion
- Supervise stringing, alignment, fit-up, trench works, lowering-in, backfilling, reinstatement, and line walkdown activities
Welding, NDT, Coating & Quality
- Coordinate welding activities in line with approved WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, and project quality requirements
- Monitor welding consumable control, preheating, interpass temperature, visual inspection, repair control, and weld history
- Coordinate NDT activities including RT, UT, MT, PT, PAUT, or other inspection requirements with QA/QC and third-party inspectors
- Supervise coating, wrapping, field joint coating, holiday testing, coating repair, and surface preparation activities
Hydrotesting, Shutdown & Pre-Commissioning
- Prepare and coordinate test packs, blind installation, pressurization, pressure holding, leak checking, and depressurization
- Supervise dewatering, swabbing, drying, air blowing, nitrogen purging, and reinstatement activities
- Plan and execute tie-in and shutdown activities within approved windows with clear sequencing, manpower, equipment, and permits
- Coordinate flushing, cleaning, gauging, leak testing, commissioning support, and mechanical completion activities
HSE, Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, PTW, WMS, JSA/RA, and method statement requirements before work execution
- Conduct and participate in toolbox talks, safety walkdowns, pre-task briefings, and daily coordination meetings
- Prepare daily progress reports, manpower/equipment reports, NDT summaries, hydrotest records, and handover dossiers
- Prepare redline mark-ups, as-built inputs, mechanical completion dossiers, and completion certificates
