Position Overview
The Accounting Supervisor — Income Auditor at Sheraton Dubai is a detail-focused hospitality finance role responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of all financial postings, revenue entries, and accounting records across the property. You will check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, control and secure cash and cash equivalents, prepare and distribute financial and auditing reports and tables, and audit and reconcile all revenue postings to ensure the hotel’s financial records are complete and correct. This role requires a high level of accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to both financial integrity and exceptional guest service standards within Marriott International’s global operating framework.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accuracy & Revenue Posting Audit
- Check figures, postings, and financial documents for accuracy across all revenue-generating departments of the hotel
- Audit and reconcile all revenue postings to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the property’s daily financial records
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information using hotel property management and accounting systems
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports and data tables as required
Cash Control & Financial Security
- Control and secure all cash and cash equivalents across the property in full accordance with Marriott’s cash handling policies
- Organize, secure, and maintain all financial files and records in compliance with document retention and confidentiality policies
- Monitor cash flow accuracy and ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly and accurately
- Protect the privacy and financial security of both guests and fellow associates at all times in accordance with company standards
Compliance, Reporting & Team Collaboration
- Follow all company safety, security, and financial compliance policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance — upholding Sheraton’s world-class brand presentation standards
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with fellow associates — supporting the team to achieve shared operational goals
- Comply with all quality assurance expectations and standards applicable to the hotel’s finance and accounting function
Guest Service & Professional Communication
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with Sheraton and Marriott company service standards
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation at all interactions
- Speak with others using clear and professional language and prepare written documents accurately and completely

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent — the minimum educational requirement for this Marriott International position
- Additional qualifications in accounting, finance, or hospitality management are a welcome advantage
Experience & Certification Requirements
- No specific prior related work experience or supervisory experience is required — making this accessible for motivated candidates
- No specific license or certification is mandated — though relevant accounting or hospitality finance experience will strengthen your application
- Prior experience in hotel income auditing, front office finance, or hospitality accounting is a genuine advantage
