Position Overview

  • Ensure proper storage and careful handling of merchandise at all times to prevent product damage and stock losses

Stockroom Organization & Classification

  • Classify and stock all products in the stockroom strictly according to established store procedures to ensure fast and accurate product retrieval
  • Tag newly arrived stock correctly and process product returns as per the instructions of senior management
  • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in the stockroom and all storage areas at all times
  • Ensure all packing materials, labels, and tags are properly organized and readily available for daily operations

Shelf Replenishment & Sales Floor Support

  • Actively assist sales staff in replenishing merchandise on shelves to ensure product availability for customers at all times
  • Check for missing or incorrect price tags on all displayed products and report findings immediately for corrective action
  • Support the sales floor team during peak trading periods, sale events, and festive seasons — with flexibility to work extended hours when required

Inventory Recording & Stock Take

  • Record all inventory inward and outward movements accurately and maintain up-to-date reports for management review
  • Actively assist during periodic Stock Take processes, ensuring accurate counting, recording, and reconciliation of all stock
  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track, manage, and update stock levels with precision and timeliness

Security, Safety & Physical Requirements

  • Maintain constant awareness and vigilance regarding in-store security — zero negligence on loss prevention standards
  • Must be physically fit with the ability to handle heavy lifting of up to 10 kg as part of daily stockroom duties
