Position Overview
This Supply Chain Specialist role at Carbomax involves supporting the execution of raw material procurement processes under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, coordinating with suppliers regarding purchase orders, delivery schedules, and shipment tracking, monitoring raw material order status, maintaining accurate procurement records, supporting inventory tracking and replenishment planning, and working closely with Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Execution & Supplier Coordination
- Support the execution of raw material procurement processes under Supply Chain Manager guidance
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding purchase orders, delivery schedules, and shipment tracking
- Assist in supplier communication regarding order updates, quality issues, and documentation requirements
- Support supplier onboarding processes and ensure accurate system data entry
Order & Inventory Management
- Monitor raw material order status and ensure timely delivery, escalating issues when necessary
- Support inventory tracking and replenishment planning with Supply Chain and Production teams
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, pricing, and supplier documentation
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Prepare regular procurement and supply reports covering order status and delivery performance
- Work closely with Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure smooth material flow and invoice alignment
- Contribute to supplier performance tracking and basic market data collection
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
- Assist in identifying supply risks and support issue resolution with internal stakeholders
- Escalate delivery or quality issues in a timely, structured manner
- Support continuity planning for critical raw material supply chains
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fields
Experience Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics roles
- Industrial or manufacturing sector experience preferred
- Basic understanding of raw material procurement (activated carbon, charcoal, agriculture-based or chemical industries a plus)
- Experience in supplier coordination or procurement operations is an advantage
Essential Skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP/CRM systems is a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
