Position Overview
This Senior Technician role involves utilizing iFlight/Intranet to request Material Requisitions, clarifying scope of works with teams and identifying required spares and tooling, issuing Route Sheets and monitoring their progress through the section, ensuring Route Sheet sign-off after completion, logging faulty equipment on the Maintenance Log System, organizing daily Tool Box Talks, managing team leave, and supporting annual Skills Matrix Reviews.

Key Responsibilities
Material Requisitions & Scope Clarification
- Utilize iFlight/Intranet to request Material Requisitions against jobs for missing items
- Provide clarification of scope of works to respective teams, identifying missing spares, parts and tooling
- Work with the Production Engineer to raise PR Requests when items are not available via Material Requisition
Route Sheet & Equipment Management
- Issue Route Sheets to the team and monitor their progress through the section
- Ensure Route Sheet sign-off after completion of operations
- Identify and log all faulty equipment on the Maintenance Log System
Team Leadership & Development
- Organize and hold daily Tool Box Talks
- Manage team leave, both holiday and sick, supporting the HR Manager where required
- Support Annual Skills Matrix Reviews alongside the Production Engineer/Manager
Safety & Compliance
- Comply with company and client quality, safety and environmental management systems at all times
- Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses and hazards are immediately reported with relevant paperwork completed
- Foster a team culture that embraces and upholds a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering; Degree in Engineering preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience as a Technician in a supervisory position
- 6-10+ years of relevant supervisory Technician experience
Essential Skills
- Ability to handle technical data from multiple sources
- Good understanding of planning and logistics methodologies
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Product knowledge in API manufacture and repair, Roteq, Oil & Gas and general industrial equipment repair
