Position Overview
This Butchery Supervisor role involves actively managing the butchery unit, including hands-on meat processing, packaging and safe storage, applying analytical skills to track SOH and audit goods received, running cost-benefit analyses to improve unit profitability, coordinating shipping and receiving schedules for temperature-sensitive goods, and maintaining all butchery facilities and equipment to support timely, high-quality order fulfillment.

Floor & Operations Leadership
- Actively manage the butchery unit, including hands-on meat processing, packaging and safe storage
- Proactively direct and motivate the warehouse team

- Apply analytical skills to track SOH (Stock on Hand) and audit goods received
- Minimize wastage and run cost-benefit analyses to improve overall unit profitability
Workflow & Facility Optimization
- Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to control the flow of temperature-sensitive goods
- Optimize warehouse space and maintain all butchery facilities and equipment
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field (preferred)
Experience Requirements
- 3-5 years of warehouse or distribution center experience
- At least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in FMCG, e-commerce or food distribution preferred
Essential Skills
- Deep, hands-on experience in butchery operations and meat processing
- Fluent in MS Excel with strong command of formulas, data manipulation and operational reporting
- Proven team leadership — able to drive, train and manage a team independently
- Highly analytical, understanding the financial impact of yield, wastage and supply chain bottlenecks
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and inventory tools
