Position Overview
This Lab Technician – Beverage Applications role at ADM in Dubai supports the beverage application lab through flavor creation and finished application development. You will produce and adapt beverage taste samples, modify ADM products based on customer requirements and release them for customer sampling, coordinate customer projects against deadlines and safety requirements, handle fine chemicals with precision and discipline, and collaborate across EMEA with development teams in Germany, other application labs, and the commercial team — all while contributing to ADM’s broader mission of solving the nutritional challenges of today and tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities
Beverage Sample Production & Flavor Creation
- Produce and adapt beverage taste samples including modifications of ADM products based on customer requirements
- Release adapted samples for customer sampling in alignment with quality, safety, and organizational standards
- Handle fine chemicals consistently while maintaining precise and disciplined laboratory working practices
Customer Project Coordination
- Take ownership of coordinating customer projects, ensuring all work aligns with agreed deadlines and safety requirements
- Manage project timelines across multiple beverage development assignments simultaneously
- Apply excellent project management skills to keep customer deliverables on track and to specification
EMEA Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate and communicate across departments throughout the EMEA region
- Work with ADM’s development headquarters in Germany, other EMEA application labs, and the commercial team
- Fully understand ADM Nutrition’s product and service portfolio to provide informed technical support to internal and customer teams
Innovation & Trend Development
- Bring enthusiasm to developing innovative beverage solutions aligned with emerging market trends
- Contribute to ADM’s mission of solving the nutritional challenges of today and tomorrow through applied beverage science
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- BS Degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline
Experience Requirements
- Ideally first experience in product development and application within the beverage industry
- Basic knowledge of product processing and the interaction of ingredients in beverage formulations
Technical & Language Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic — both are required for this Dubai-based EMEA role
- Solid PC skills and affinity with IT tools including SAP and Salesforce
- Excellent project management skills to coordinate customer projects across multiple timelines
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental and cross-regional collaboration
