Key Responsibilities

- Perform advanced chemical analysis on a diverse range of pharmaceutical and cosmetic product samples using approved analytical methodologies and laboratory procedures.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the development, formulation and quality control of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products across PPOAR’s product range.
- Prepare samples correctly for analysis — including weighing, dissolving, diluting and other preparation steps — to ensure accurate, reproducible and reliable analytical results.
- Execute method validation, method development and method transfer activities as required by the pharmaceutical and cosmetic product development teams.
Analytical Instrumentation Operation & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain advanced analytical laboratory instruments and equipment used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic chemical analysis.
- Ensure all instruments are calibrated, maintained and functioning correctly — reporting equipment faults, calibration issues or performance deviations promptly.
- Apply expertise in analytical techniques including — but not limited to — HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, titration, dissolution testing and other relevant pharmaceutical and cosmetic analytical methods.
- Ensure the laboratory is maintained in a clean, organized and safe condition in compliance with GLP and regulatory standards at all times.
Data Interpretation, Documentation & Reporting
- Interpret analytical data accurately and comprehensively — identifying out-of-specification results, trends and anomalies that require investigation or corrective action.
- Maintain detailed, accurate and compliant documentation of all laboratory activities, analytical results, instrument logs and experimental records.
- Prepare clear, structured analytical reports and certificates of analysis for pharmaceutical and cosmetic product batches as required by the quality assurance function.
- Ensure all laboratory documentation meets applicable Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), GMP and regulatory authority requirements for pharmaceutical and cosmetic products in the UAE.
Quality Compliance & Cross-Functional Support
- Support the quality assurance and product development teams with chemical analysis data and scientific insights required for product approvals, batch releases and regulatory submissions.
- Participate in internal laboratory audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance analytical laboratory standards.
- Collaborate with formulation scientists, QA specialists and production teams to resolve analytical issues and support seamless product development and manufacturing workflows.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a closely related scientific discipline — mandatory requirement.
