Key Responsibilities
International Freight Coordination — Air, Sea & Road
- Coordinate international transport by air freight, sea freight and road freight — ensuring that Bock product deliveries arrive at customer locations worldwide on time and with maximum efficiency.
- Work closely with freight forwarders, logistics service providers and international partners to plan, book and monitor shipments across complex global supply chains.
- Track shipments proactively and address any transport delays, routing issues or unexpected challenges before they impact customer delivery commitments.
Import / Export Documentation & Customs Declarations
- Manage all import and export documentation — including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and other trade compliance documents.
- Prepare and submit customs declarations accurately and on time — working closely with customs authorities, freight forwarders and regulatory bodies to ensure fully compliant processing.
- Apply expert knowledge of container shipping, customs processes and international trade regulations to ensure zero-delay clearance and full regulatory compliance across all shipments.
Customer Service & Order Management
- Handle customer inquiries regarding open orders professionally and reliably — guiding customers through the entire transport process from order placement to final delivery confirmation.
- Provide shipment tracking updates and proactively communicate any delays, changes or challenges to customers in a clear, solution-oriented and timely manner.
- Maintain first-class customer service standards consistent with Danfoss Bock’s global reputation for reliability and operational excellence.
Process Optimization & Cross-Functional Interface
- Identify and implement improvements to logistics chain processes — contributing ideas that make workflows more efficient, customer-oriented and cost-effective across the supply chain.
- Act as the central interface between internal Danfoss Bock teams, customers and external logistics partners — ensuring clear communication, aligned expectations and seamless operational flow.
- Use SAP S/4HANA and other ERP tools proficiently to manage order data, track shipments, document activities and generate logistics reports for internal and customer stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
Educational & Professional Background
- Commercial training in the field of industry, foreign trade, freight forwarding, international logistics or a similar discipline — mandatory background requirement.
- Professional experience in export operations or foreign trade — ideally with a focus on international supply chains, customs compliance and freight coordination.
- Hands-on experience with customs declarations and container shipping — you understand the processes, timelines and compliance requirements in depth.
