A growing F&B operation in Qatar is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Food Safety Officer to join the team. You’ll assist with daily food safety and hygiene inspections across outlets and production areas, monitor HACCP and GMP compliance, and help keep every location audit-ready.

Position Overview
This Assistant Food Safety Officer role supports day-to-day food safety and hygiene compliance across outlets and production areas in Qatar. You will monitor HACCP and GMP adherence, check storage temperatures and labeling practices, maintain inspection records, support training initiatives, and help follow up on corrective actions after internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities
Inspections & Compliance Monitoring
- Assist with daily food safety and hygiene inspections across outlets and production areas
- Monitor compliance with HACCP, GMP, and internal food safety procedures
- Check food storage temperatures, labeling accuracy, and FIFO/FEFO rotation
- Verify personal hygiene standards among staff at all locations
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain food safety records, checklists, and inspection reports
- Track corrective actions and follow up with Operations teams on audit observations
- Support internal and external food safety inspections and audits
Training & Incident Support
- Support food safety training and employee awareness programs
- Assist in investigating food safety incidents and implementing corrective actions
- Help reinforce a consistent food safety culture across sites
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Hospitality, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in Food Safety, Hygiene, QA, or F&B operations preferred
- HACCP / Food Safety certification preferred
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of Qatar food safety requirements and HACCP principles
- Good communication, reporting, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work across multiple locations
