Position Overview
The Warehouse & Logistics Manager in Abu Dhabi is responsible for the complete end-to-end management of warehouse and logistics operations — including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and distribution. This senior leadership role encompasses team management and development, WMS and ERP system governance, inventory accuracy and cycle counting, vendor and 3PL coordination, KPI monitoring and reporting, compliance with UAE regulations and HSE standards, and strategic continuous improvement of all warehouse and logistics processes — making it one of the most comprehensive and impactful operations management roles available in Abu Dhabi today.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and outbound dispatch activities
- Ensure all warehouse operations are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company procedures and UAE regulations
- Manage WMS and ERP systems to maintain data integrity, inventory accuracy, and real-time operational visibility
- Implement and maintain 5S, lean warehouse management principles, and continuous improvement practices across all warehouse areas
Inventory Control & Accuracy Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular cycle counting and full physical inventory processes
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock losses, and system-versus-physical variances promptly
- Implement inventory control procedures that minimise shrinkage, damage, and expiry losses across all product categories
- Provide accurate inventory reporting and analysis to management to support commercial and operational decision-making
Logistics Coordination & Distribution Management
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL), freight forwarders, and transport carriers
- Monitor and optimise delivery routes, carrier performance, and transportation costs to improve efficiency and reduce logistics spend
- Ensure full compliance with UAE customs regulations, import/export requirements, and all applicable transportation laws
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and operational staff
- Set clear performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and development support to team members
- Build a high-performing, safety-conscious warehouse team culture through consistent standards, accountability, and recognition
- Ensure all team members receive appropriate training on warehouse procedures, HSE standards, and system usage
KPI Reporting, Cost Control & Continuous Improvement
- Define, monitor, and report on key warehouse and logistics KPIs including delivery performance, accuracy, and productivity metrics
- Manage warehousing and logistics operational budgets, identify cost reduction opportunities, and implement savings initiatives
- Lead continuous improvement projects that enhance warehouse layout, process efficiency, and logistics cost effectiveness
- Prepare regular operational reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders
HSE Compliance & Safety Management
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations across all warehouse and logistics operations
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and emergency procedure reviews to maintain a safe working environment
- Investigate and report any accidents, near-misses, or safety incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Champion a culture of safety awareness and proactive risk management throughout the warehouse and logistics team
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field — preferred
- Professional certifications in supply chain or logistics (e.g., CIPS, APICS CPIM, CSCP) are a valued advantage
Experience Requirements
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, logistics operations, or supply chain leadership roles
- Proven track record of successfully managing warehouse and logistics teams and operations in a UAE or GCC environment
- Hands-on experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP platforms for daily warehouse and inventory management
Essential Skills & Competencies
