Position Overview

 Key Responsibilities

Grower Recommendations & Sales

  • Make seed, fertilizer, and chemical recommendations to growers
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions
  • Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently

Customer Relationships & Team Collaboration

  • Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote repeat business
  • Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities

Forecasting & Technology

  • Forecast supply requirements on a monthly and annual basis
  • Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed, Precision Farming technology, finance, and marketing tools

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • A degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred, or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements

  • 1+ years of agronomy related experience preferred

Essential Skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills for grower and customer relationships
  • Comfortable preparing sales presentations, contracts, and proposals
