Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the Accounts Payable & General Cashier is responsible for managing supplier payments and maintaining accurate accounts payable records, while also overseeing the hotel’s daily cash handling, banking, and cashiering processes in accordance with established financial controls. This role supports the smooth and efficient operation of the Finance department as part of the exciting opening team at Radisson Hotel Fujairah.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Management
- Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time
- Maintain supplier accounts, reconcile statements, and follow up on discrepancies
- Support month-end closing, audits, and other Finance department requirements
Cash Handling & Banking
- Handle daily cash collections, deposits, and banking activities
- Manage petty cash and cashier floats in line with hotel procedures
- Prepare cash and bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Financial Controls & Compliance
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the hotel’s financial controls and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation supporting accounts payable and cashiering activities
- Support the Chief Accountant with day-to-day Finance department operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, General Cashier, or a similar Finance role within a hotel environment
- UAE hotel and pre-opening experience are advantages
Educational Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance is an advantage
Essential Skills
- Good understanding of accounts payable processes, cash handling, and reconciliations
- Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Good communication and organisational skills
