Position Overview
This Architekt/in oder Bauingenieur/in role in Hannover focuses on HOAI Leistungsphasen 6, 7, and 8, working independently and within the team on tender preparation and bills of quantities, quantity surveying and cost control, obtaining and reviewing bids, contributing to award procedures and recommendations, preparing and supporting contract awarding, supervising construction sites and coordinating executing firms, invoice verification and cost tracking, supplementary claims management, documentation and acceptance procedures, and communication with clients, specialist planners, and executing companies.

Key Responsibilities
Tendering & Bills of Quantities
- Prepare tender documents (Ausschreibungen) and bills of quantities (Leistungsverzeichnisse)
- Conduct quantity surveying and cost control throughout project phases
- Obtain and review bids from potential contractors
- Ensure tender documentation aligns with project requirements and budgets
Award Procedures & Contract Support
- Contribute to award procedures (Vergabeverfahren) and recommendations
- Prepare and support the contract awarding process
- Evaluate bids for compliance with technical and commercial requirements
- Ensure transparent, well-documented award decisions
Site Supervision & Coordination
- Perform site supervision (Objektüberwachung) throughout construction
- Coordinate executing construction firms on-site
- Monitor invoice verification and ongoing cost tracking
- Manage supplementary claims (Nachtragsmanagement) as they arise
Documentation & Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain thorough documentation and manage project acceptance (Abnahmen)
- Communicate regularly with clients (Bauherrschaften), specialist planners, and contractors
- Ensure clear, timely updates across all project stakeholders
- Support quality assurance throughout the construction phase
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed studies in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Experience Requirements
- Ideally 5-10 years of professional experience in planning and executing construction projects
- Solid experience specifically in Leistungsphasen 6-8
Technical Skills
- Confident handling of tendering, award, and site supervision processes
- Good knowledge of VOB and relevant technical regulations
- Cost and quality awareness
- Confident use of common office software
- Experience with ORCA AVA is desirable
