Position Overview
This Assistant Store Controller role is responsible for managing flydubai’s inventory located in the stores, including storage, receipts, distribution, and dispatch of parts as required. You will carry out day-to-day technical spares receipt, issue, and binning operations, support technical inspection functions with Quality Assurance, maintain proper material custody conditions, and ensure all aircraft spares meet CAA, FAA, GCAA, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Stores Operations & Inventory Handling
- Carry out day-to-day operations of technical spares receipt, issues, and binning of parts
- Manage storage, distribution, and dispatch of aircraft spares as required
Technical Inspection & Quality Support
- Adopt technical inspection functions in conjunction with the Quality Assurance department
- Support shelf life control, Engineering standards, and test equipment inspection procedures
- Check and verify all materials, stamping approval on labels per company procedure
Material Custody & Storage Conditions
- Maintain control over material custody covering temperature, humidity, light, containers, and storage conditions
- Ensure all units shipped or stored are properly sealed and dispatched with correct documentation
- Ensure quantity, quality, and storage conditions remain within approved limits with proper traceability
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure discrepancy reports are raised for incorrect, excess, or short supply of parts, with proper follow-up
- Ensure products and materials conform to company specifications and requirements
- Ensure all aircraft spares received conform to CAA, FAA, GCAA, and company procedure manual standards
- Attend continuation courses to keep the inspection stamp active
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Fluent in English
Experience Requirements
- 2 – 4 years of relevant experience with qualifications
