Position Overview
The Asst. Warehouse Officer-Finished Goods is responsible for all activities being performed at the Warehouse of Finished Goods and Packaging Material stores at the respective Plant. This role covers inbound storage, outbound fulfillment, and logistics management under FIFO/FEFO principles, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all warehouse operations.
Why This Role Matters:Â As Assistant Warehouse Officer, you receive inbound goods from production and record everything accurately in SAP, execute delivery and fulfillment processes to meet Perfect Order and DIFOT targets for domestic and export customers, reduce and maintain zero customer complaints by improving dispatch quality on food-grade shipments, manage inbound and outbound logistics following FIFO/FEFO principles, participate in internal and external audits and Integrated Pest Management activities, and build valuable stores and inventory management experience within a Fortune 500 ingredient solutions company.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound & Outbound Operations
- Receive inbound goods from production, follow storage protocols, and record everything in SAP
- Execute delivery and fulfillment processes to meet Perfect Order and DIFOT targets
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics following FIFO/FEFO principles
Warehouse & Equipment Management
- Oversee warehouse activities, ensuring safety and security measures are followed
- Ensure continuous operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), liaising with MHE providers
- Protect storage environments from severe weather, both indoors and outdoors
Quality, Compliance & Inventory Accuracy
- Ensure the warehouse environment meets food and pharma-grade Quality Management Systems
- Keep physical inventory in sync with SAP records through regular counts
- Participate in Integrated Pest Management activities and internal/external audits
Coordination & Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate with production for effective storage space management and special stock handling
- Generate and update reports, optimize logistics, and identify workplace hazards
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Stores & Inventory Management
- English fluency, both written and spoken
