Automation QA Engineer Position Overview
You will split your time between building solid automation and getting your hands dirty with manual testing. That means investigating failures, fixing flaky tests, managing test data and environments, and writing clear, reproducible bug reports. You will decide when manual coverage makes sense and when automation is worth the effort, based on risk, while keeping regression suites healthy.

Key Responsibilities
What You Will Do Day to Day
- Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for key user flows.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and dependable.
- Investigate failures, fix flaky tests and manage test data and environments.
- Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
- Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
- Run hands-on functional, exploratory and regression tests on new features.
- Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk and maintain regression suites.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO with Appium for mobile.
- Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including real iOS and Android devices.
- Experience using AI tools in QA and reviewing their output critically.
- Plus: experience testing AI-powered applications.
- Excellent English communication skills.
