Position Overview
In this role, you work on particularly complex bridge construction projects through all phases and help deliver them. You prepare tender documents in line with technical and legal requirements, accompany procurement procedures up to the award, and handle and manage contracts during construction. You take part in building preservation measures and in bridge recalculations, which check the load-bearing capacity of existing structures.

Key Responsibilities
Projects
- Work on particularly complex bridge construction projects in all project phases and support their successful delivery
Tenders & Contracts
- Prepare tender documents in line with technical and legal requirements
- Accompany and manage procurement procedures up to the award
- Handle and manage contracts during project delivery
Preservation & Assessment
- Take part in building preservation measures and sustainable safeguarding of infrastructure
- Accompany bridge recalculations to assess and secure the load-bearing capacity of existing structures
Qualifications
Education
- Degree in civil engineering, specializing in structural engineering (Diploma FH or Bachelor), or
- Qualification for career group 2, first entry-level position in the technical service, focus on engineering sciences
Experience
- At least three years of practical experience in structural engineering in career group 2, first entry-level position in the civil engineering service, or comparable
