Position Overview
As Civil Projects Technical Coordinator, you will coordinate and monitor project activities from initiation to completion, follow up on technical, procurement, and close-out deliverables, and maintain accurate project logs, reports, and documentation. You’ll act as the communication link between internal teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and government authorities, ensuring projects move forward on schedule and all regulatory approvals are secured on time.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Monitoring
- Coordinate and monitor project activities from initiation to completion
- Follow up on technical, procurement, and close-out deliverables
- Monitor project schedules and highlight delays, risks, and mitigation measures
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare, maintain, and track project logs, reports, and documentation
- Schedule meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
- Ensure all handover documentation, as-built drawings, and close-out documents are complete and submitted on time
Authority Approvals & Handover
- Coordinate submission and approval of technical documents with clients and authorities
- Manage all authority approvals, permits, inspections, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate the project handover process, including approvals and completion certificates from Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defense, RTA, and other relevant authorities
Stakeholder & Cross-Team Coordination
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure timely project execution
- Support the Technical Department Manager in achieving project objectives and successful project close-out
- Maintain effective communication across all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in project coordination within UAE construction
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority approval processes and project handover requirements
- Experience coordinating with Dubai Municipality (DM), DEWA, Dubai Civil Defense (DCD), RTA, Dubai Development Authority (DDA), and other relevant authorities preferred
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and project management software is an advantage
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
