Position Overview
The Customer Supply & Logistics Specialist in Dubai plays a critical operational and relationship-management role within the pharmaceutical client’s regional Supply Chain team. This professional manages the end-to-end order-to-delivery process, develops demand forecasts, monitors distributor inventory levels, coordinates logistics documentation and drives continuous process improvements — all while maintaining strong relationships with distributors, 3PL providers, internal stakeholders and business partners across the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities
Distributor & Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong, productive relationships with distributors, business partners, 3PL providers and internal stakeholders across the regional supply chain network.
- Monitor distributor inventory levels continuously and collaborate proactively with internal teams to identify and address supply challenges before they escalate.
- Serve as the primary supply chain contact for key distributors — building trust, resolving issues promptly and ensuring alignment with product availability targets.
Order-to-Delivery Process Management
- Manage the end-to-end order-to-delivery process, ensuring strict compliance with internal policies, client standards and operational excellence benchmarks.
- Lead tender preparation activities and coordinate all documentation submissions within defined timelines and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage regulatory and trade-related requirements including trade licenses, customs coordination, Dubai Trade and Dubai Customs accounts and all associated logistics documentation.
Demand Planning & Supply Continuity
- Develop accurate demand forecasts and strategic supply plans to ensure uninterrupted product availability and minimize stock-out risks across the region.
- Support budgeting and forecasting exercises by providing precise, data-driven market and supply chain insights to internal planning teams.
- Proactively identify and mitigate supply continuity risks — ensuring that pharmaceutical products are always available for healthcare partners and end users.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Efficiency
- Drive continuous process improvements across the supply chain function and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve end-to-end supply chain performance within the pharmaceutical and healthcare client organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all supply chain activities, order statuses and logistics documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related field — mandatory requirement.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or healthcare supply chain regulations and trade compliance in the UAE is a strong advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics operations or customer service within a supply chain environment.
- Hands-on experience with Dubai Trade, Dubai Customs and UAE logistics documentation processes is highly valued.
- Prior exposure to pharmaceutical, healthcare or similarly regulated industry supply chains is a recognized advantage.
Personal Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to engage confidently with distributors, 3PLs and senior internal teams.
- Highly proactive, accountable and capable of taking genuine ownership of end-to-end responsibilities in a fast-moving environment.
