Position Overview

This Farm Logistics Associate role at Wysocki Family Farms is a versatile, hands-on position supporting a wide range of farm operations. You will operate and drive bulk trucks, assist with potato handling, run tractors and agricultural equipment, deliver fertilizer and supplies, perform basic mechanical maintenance, and support planting and harvest activities alongside the farm operations team.

 Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Trucking

  • Operate and drive bulk trucks to transport agricultural products and materials
  • Deliver dehy loads via trucks and semis
  • Deliver fertilizer and supplies to field locations in support of crop production
  • Assist with loading, hauling, and transporting equipment between locations

Crop Production & Field Support

  • Tend and support sprayer operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials
  • Tend and support planting operations, including assisting with planter setup
  • Operate tractors and agricultural equipment for tasks such as mowing ditches
  • Work collaboratively with the farm operations team on planting, harvest, and storage activities

Potato Handling & Facility Maintenance

  • Assist with potato handling operations, including scooping, loading, and transporting
  • Perform bin cleaning, washing, and general facility maintenance as needed
  • Perform basic mechanical work and assist with equipment maintenance and repairs in the shop

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • No specific degree required — hands-on agricultural and mechanical aptitude valued

Experience Requirements

  • Previous agricultural experience preferred
  • Semi-truck driving experience preferred; CDL is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and extended shifts during peak seasons

Essential Skills
