Key Responsibilities
Food Safety System Implementation & Monitoring
- Implement, maintain, and continuously monitor food safety management systems across all QSR and FSR operations
- Ensure all food safety procedures, HACCP plans, and hygiene protocols are correctly followed by all operational staff
- Conduct regular food safety inspections across kitchen areas, storage facilities, and service points at all locations
- Identify food safety risks, non-conformances, and process gaps and develop timely corrective and preventive actions
Compliance, Audits & Regulatory Standards
- Ensure full compliance with Kuwait Municipality food safety regulations, MOH requirements, and international food hygiene standards
- Conduct scheduled and unannounced internal food safety audits across all restaurant and food preparation areas
- Prepare audit reports, compliance documentation, and food safety records for management and regulatory review
- Coordinate with relevant authorities during external inspections and ensure all corrective actions are implemented promptly
Staff Training & Food Safety Culture
- Train and coach all food handling, kitchen, and service staff on food safety, personal hygiene, and contamination prevention
- Develop and deliver structured food safety training programs tailored to QSR and FSR operational environments
- Build and sustain a genuine food safety-first culture across all teams through consistent leadership and communication
- Monitor staff compliance with food safety standards during service periods and provide real-time coaching as needed
Reporting, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date food safety records, inspection logs, temperature checks, and corrective action documentation
- Prepare regular food safety performance reports and present findings and recommendations to management
- Drive continuous improvement of food safety processes, systems, and team knowledge across all F&B operations
- Stay current with updates to Kuwait food safety regulations and international best practices and apply them proactively

- Currently based in Kuwait — applicants must be physically located in Kuwait at time of application
- Minimum 3 years of relevant F&B experience — in food safety, quality control, or operations roles
- QSR or FSR operations experience — direct restaurant or food service industry background is mandatory
- Strong leadership and communication skills — ability to train, lead, and influence food safety behavior across teams
- Transferable residency — a transferable Kuwait residency (Iqama) is a mandatory requirement for this role
