Schedule: Saturday-Sunday off, office timings 8 AM-6 PM

Position Overview
The Glass CNC Programmer/Operator reads and interprets technical drawings, mechanical documents, and specifications, choosing appropriate diamond cutting wheels, drill bits, and routing tools based on glass thickness, type, and edge finish requirements, running CNC programs to achieve precise cutting, drilling, routing, and edging results.
Why This Role Matters: As Glass CNC Programmer/Operator, you read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical documents, and specifications, choose appropriate diamond cutting wheels, drill bits, and routing tools based on glass thickness and type, monitor and control CNC machine movements through programming, running cycles in line with desired goals, load glass sheets onto the CNC machine, input or select cutting programs, and run cycles safely, perform precise cutting, drilling, routing, and edging, inspecting finished glass for chips, cracks, and defects, and clean the machine, check tools, lubricate parts, and handle basic troubleshooting, keeping track of inventory and raw materials throughout the production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Reading & Tool Selection
- Read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical documents, and specifications
- Choose appropriate diamond cutting wheels, drill bits, and routing tools based on glass type
CNC Programming & Machine Operation
- Monitor and control CNC machine movements through programming
- Load glass sheets, input or select cutting programs, and run cycles safely
Cutting & Quality Inspection
- Perform precise cutting, drilling, routing, and edging
- Inspect finished glass for chips, cracks, size accuracy, and defects
Maintenance & Inventory
- Clean the machine, check tools, lubricate parts, and handle basic troubleshooting
- Keep track of inventory and raw materials throughout the production lifecycle
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience with CNC Operation
- 3+ years of work experience with CNC Programming
- CNC programming skills for “INTERMAC” or similar CNC glass machinery
- Experience with CNC operation in glass, metal, or similar materials
Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to read CAD/technical drawings and use basic measuring tools
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy glass panels safely
- Ability to meet production deadlines
