Position Overview
This Grain and Agronomy Operator role at CPI involves day-to-day grain and agronomy operations, including loading and unloading grain commodities, blending and loading dry or liquid fertilizer and chemicals, and at times loading railcars at certain facilities. Candidates may also operate heavy equipment if certified, working both independently and as part of a safety-focused team in an outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities
Grain Handling Operations
- Load and unload grain commodities as part of daily operations
- Support efficient grain flow and storage at CPI facilities
- Assist with loading railcars at certain facilities as needed
Agronomy & Fertilizer Handling
- Blend and load dry or liquid fertilizer and chemicals
- Follow proper handling procedures for agronomy products
- Support accurate and safe application-ready product preparation
Equipment Operation & Safety
- Operate heavy equipment as needed, if certified
- Follow CPI’s safety-minded policies at all times
- Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
