Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide visible, day-to-day leadership for plant employees, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and respect
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback, performance management, and training opportunities
- Recognize and develop employee potential, helping team members achieve both personal and professional success
- Manage staffing needs, schedules, performance expectations, and employee relations matters in partnership with Human Resources

Operations & Production Management
- Coordinate daily plant operations to achieve production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Establish and maintain standardized operating procedures that drive consistency and operational excellence
- Monitor inventory levels and material usage, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
- Oversee the flow of incoming supplies and outgoing products to ensure efficient operations and service delivery
- Utilize operational data and metrics to identify opportunities for increased productivity and continuous improvement
Safety, Quality & Maintenance
- Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices
- Lead by example in promoting safe work behaviors and maintaining a safe working environment throughout the plant
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, operational readiness, and compliance standards
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred
Licensing & Equipment
- Class A CDL with a clean driving record is required
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in agriculture, grain, or manufacturing environments
Experience & Skills
- Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, grain operations, or a related operational environment
- Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing employees in a supervisory or management role
- Strong ability to build relationships, motivate teams, manage performance, and drive employee engagement
