Key Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy & Control
- Ensure high inventory accuracy and continuously improve it
- Analyze inventory levels, material movements, and inventory discrepancies, deriving suitable measures
- Develop and establish inventory control standards and monitor compliance
Cycle Counts & Process Optimization
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate cycle counts and inventories
- Analyze and optimize inventory and storage processes
- Analyze material flows, warehouse structures, and warehouse utilization to identify optimization potential
KPI Development & Reporting
- Develop relevant KPIs and monitor their development
- Create reports, dashboards, and management analyses
- Ensure high master data and data quality in ERP and logistics systems
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Develop sustainable warehousing and inventory strategies
- Implement improvement measures with operational teams to increase warehouse performance
- Collaborate with specialist departments on data-driven logistics solutions
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed studies, ideally in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a comparable field
Experience Requirements
- Initial professional experience in inventory management, stock controlling, or warehouse logistics
- Experience developing and managing KPIs, reports, and dashboards
- Experience in projects or continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Skills
- Strong analytical skills with a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Excellent Excel skills, ideally with SQL, Power BI, and ERP or WMS system experience
- Knowledge of warehouse and inventory process analysis and optimization is advantageous
- Excellent German skills and good English skills
- Self-initiative, team spirit, and enjoyment in actively shaping change
