Position Overview
This Junior Demand Planner role involves supporting the planning and optimization of product flow throughout the sales cycle for a retail and distribution business in Dubai. You will monitor product performance, stock levels, and sales throughout the season, manage outbound distribution and inbound deliveries, coordinate shipments to stores, support seasonal distribution strategies, and prepare regular reports using Excel and Power BI to support business decisions across the store network.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Cycle & Distribution Management
- Support end-to-end sales cycle management, monitoring product performance, stock, and sales
- Manage and monitor outbound distribution, ensuring products are allocated and dispatched to stores
- Closely monitor inbound deliveries, identifying potential delays and coordinating with Logistics
- Plan and coordinate shipments to stores, ensuring the right products arrive at the right moment
Seasonal Planning & Product Follow-Up
- Support the development of seasonal distribution strategies based on product lifecycle and sales
- Conduct regular product follow-up, analyzing stock and sales performance for redistribution needs
- Conduct store follow-up, monitoring stock coverage, sales performance, and product availability
- Perform size analysis to ensure the appropriate size mix is available per store and product
Logistics Coordination & Buying Support
- Closely monitor deliveries and proactively identify and escalate logistics delays or supply gaps
- Work closely with the Buying Team on time-to-market requirements and minimum units per store
- Analyze potential sales and stock gaps across stores to improve availability and performance
- Support the core distribution principle: right product, right store, right time, right quantity
Retail Calendar & Distribution Execution
- Prepare and maintain the Retail Calendar, coordinating key distribution and commercial milestones
- Support distribution actions including stock reinforcements, transfers, and consolidation
- Support core distribution functions including first allocation and replenishment
- Ensure efficient product flow across the store network throughout the season
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Prepare regular reports and analysis using Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities for stakeholders
- Proactively communicate recommendations to relevant business stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with Buying, Logistics, Distribution, Retail, and Planning teams
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience or internship in Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Supply Chain, Distribution, or Retail Planning is preferred
Language & Technical Requirements
- Fluent English is required; Russian is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization and analytical tools is highly desirable
