Position Overview
As Oncology Nurse, you carry out specialised assessments of symptoms, side effects and burdens, and give drug-based cancer therapy within the scope of your specialist training and under delegation. You run, coordinate and document structured counselling sessions and instruct patients and relatives, work close to patients across all centres, and work out each patient’s counselling needs. You derive interventions from nursing standards, start and run nursing rounds, keep informing and advising patients and relatives throughout the illness, and join multi-professional case discussions and quality circles.

Qualification
- Completed specialist oncology nursing training
- 3-year training in health and nursing care or as a Pflegefachmann/-frau/-person
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in oncology
Certificate
- Proof of training following the KOK recommendations on cytostatic administration by nurses, or willingness to complete it
