Position Overview
This LiveKit Deployment Engineer role at Kejue is a remote-first position based in Dubai, UAE or Cairo, Egypt, giving you ownership of the core infrastructure of a high-growth voice AI platform. You will deploy and scale LiveKit SFUs, SIP bridges, and agents on Kubernetes for global high availability, implement comprehensive logging, metrics, and alerting to ensure platform reliability, and perform capacity planning and autoscaling management for thousands of simultaneous, latency-sensitive voice sessions.

Key Responsibilities
LiveKit Infrastructure Deployment
- Deploy and scale LiveKit SFUs, SIP bridges, and agents on Kubernetes
- Ensure global high availability for mission-critical voice AI workloads
- Own infrastructure end-to-end across the entire LiveKit stack
- Support thousands of concurrent calls with reliable, scalable architecture
Observability & Reliability
- Implement comprehensive logging, metrics, and alerting
- Ensure platform reliability before issues impact end users
- Build observability systems tailored to real-time voice infrastructure
- Monitor system health across distributed, latency-sensitive workloads
Capacity Planning & Autoscaling
- Perform capacity planning for thousands of simultaneous voice sessions
- Manage autoscaling to handle fluctuating call volumes efficiently
- Optimize resource allocation for latency-sensitive media workloads
- Plan for growth as the voice AI platform scales globally
Media Path & Real-Time Systems
- Apply deep technical knowledge of the media path, including SIP and WebRTC
- Manage codecs, jitter, and packet loss for consistent call quality
- Troubleshoot complex real-time media challenges at scale
- Ensure low-latency performance across global voice sessions
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Proven production experience deploying and operating the LiveKit stack (SFU, SIP, agents) at significant scale
Technical Skills
- Deep technical knowledge of the media path, including SIP, RTP/WebRTC, codecs, jitter, and packet loss
- Expertise in Kubernetes operations for stateful, real-time workloads
- Experience building observability for voice systems
