Position Overview
The Logistics, Shipping & Fleet Coordinator handles a set of recurring operational duties that keep a retail and trading business running. You will contact shipping and freight companies for quotations and book shipments, record shipping costs as bills in the system, arrange shipment insurance, follow up on near-expiry items across locations with the warehouse and retail teams, submit ADNOC fuel expenses for company vehicles, and coordinate pest control for shops, the warehouse, and the office. A new part of the role is checking the condition of company vehicles and tracking their service schedules, flagging any that are due for maintenance or repair.
Why This Role Matters: Small operational lapses add up: a missed shipment booking, an uninsured cargo, expired stock left on a shelf, or a van overdue for service. This coordinator keeps those recurring obligations on track so the shops, warehouse, and delivery fleet keep running without surprises.
