Position Overview
As Electrical Designer, you design, plan and calculate costs for control cabinets and control and switchgear systems based on specific customer needs. You support sales with technical solutions and offers, and advise customers on technical questions. In EPLAN P8, you create, expand and revise circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, terminal and assembly diagrams, and you maintain bills of materials and master data in EPLAN and the ERP system. During project execution you are the technical interface to manufacturing.

Design & Costing
- Design, plan and calculate control cabinets, control and switchgear systems to customer needs
- Create, expand and revise circuit, wiring, terminal and assembly diagrams in EPLAN P8
Data
- Create and maintain bills of materials and master data in EPLAN P8 and the ERP system
Customers & Production
- Support sales with technical solutions and offers
- Advise customers on technical issues
- Act as technical support and interface to manufacturing
Qualifications
Education
- Vocational training in electrical engineering with further training as technician or master craftsman, or an electrical engineering degree with relevant experience
Skills
- Sound knowledge of electrical design and confident use of relevant standards and regulations
- Solid EPLAN P8 knowledge; ProPanel is an advantage
- Experience with common ERP and MS Office systems
